Pregnancy Problem List

This subsection appears in the Ob Episode tab of the patient chart. It lists problems specific to a particular pregnancy.

 

This section appears on the OB Episode tab of the patient chart.

 

 

 

  1. Locate the Pregnancy Problem List section in the OB Episode tab in the patient chart.
  2. Add — Click inside the drop-down field to display your short list of problems and select from the list, or enter the first few letters of a problem and select it from the matching list.
  3. Onset Date — Enter the onset date of the problem.
  4. End Date — Enter the end date of the problem.
  5. Resolution/Plan — Select a resolution plan.
  6. Notes — For the problem row, enter any notes about this problem and resolution.
  7. Hide — Select this option to hide the problem in the list.
  8. Add to Patient Problem List — If you want to add this problem to the Problems section of the patient chart, select this option.
  9. Notes — (at the bottom of the section) You can enter notes to track problems that may not be tied to a pregnancy problem and specific diagnosis code. These notes appear on the OB Episode form.

 

  1. Locate the Pregnancy Problem List section on the OB Episode tab.
  2. Add to Patient Problem List column — (at the right) Check the box next to the pregnancy problem that you want to copy.
  3. Click Save to save changes.

 

  1. In the patient chart, click the Problems tab on the left side of the page.
  2. Click the problem that you want to add to the Pregnancy Problem List section to display the details.
  3. Select the Add to pregnancy problem list option.
    The problem is now listed in the Problems section and the Pregnancy Problems section of the Problems tab, as well as in the Pregnancy Problem List section of the OB episode.
    Updates to the problem are applied to all lists automatically.

    Note: You can check the box in the Hide column of the Pregnancy Problem List section of the OB episode to hide the problem on the Pregnancy Problem List.

 

 

Show Hidden

Select this option to display hidden pregnancy problems in this section.
Problem

The SNOMED-CT term for the pregnancy problem.
Add

Click inside the drop-down field to display your short list of problems, or enter the first few letters of a problem and select it from the list.

Your short list of SNOMED-CT pregnancy problems is administered on the Configure Pregnancy Problems page.
Onset Date

Enter the onset date of the problem.
End Date

Enter the end date of the problem.
Resolution/Plan

Select a resolution plan.
Notes

Enter any notes about this problem and resolution.
remove

Click the remove link to remove a problem from the list.
Hide

Select this option to hide the problem in the list.

Note: You can select the Show Hidden option at the top of the list to display hidden pregnancy problems.
Add to Patient Problem List

If you want to add this problem to the Problems section of the patient chart, select this option.
Notes

Use this free-text field to track problems that may not be tied to a specific problem and diagnosis code. These notes appear on the OB Episode form.
