Note: Confirm prescribers are listed in the Billing Providers admin page (Settings > Billing > Providers).

Add available medications and sig combinations

  1. Settings > Clinicals > MAR Order Configuration.

  2. Click the MAR Order Configuration tab at the top.

  3. Click the add icon in the top right corner.

  4. Enter the name of the medication you want to add and select the appropriate option from the dropdown menu.

  5. Click the expand icon next to the medication and click Add Sig.

  6. Enter Sig details and click Save.

    Note

    • Delete by hovering your cursor to the right of the medication and clicking the trash can icon .

    • Edit by hovering your cursor to the right of the medication and clicking the pencil icon .

    • Important: Edited medications or sigs impact all associated preference cards.

Add or manage medication preference card

  1. Settings > Clinicals > MAR Order Configuration.

  2. On the Procedure MAR Orders tab, click Add new card.

  3. Click the expand icon next to the new order set card.

  4. Click the pencil icon to rename the order set card.

  5. Enter an appropriate name for the order set card and click Add meds.

  6. Check the box next to the medications you want to add to the order set and click Add Selected Meds.

    Note

    • Delete by clicking the trash can icon next to the order set card.

    • Copy by clicking Create a copy next to the order set card. Rename the copied order set card.

MAR order delegation

  1. Settings > Clinicals > Order Delegation.

  2. Access the new MAR – Medications (IV) and MAR – Medications (Other Routes) order types when adding an individual and group-based delegation.
