Quick Reference — To log in to athenaOne from your iPhone

Note: athenahealth cannot control the speed of 3G or 4G networks, possible timeouts, and related performance issues. athenaOne performance via the iPhone depends on a Wi-Fi or 3G/4G connection.

  1. Tap the athenaOne icon on your iPhone's home screen.
    The mobile website automatically redirects you to the mobile login.
  2. Enter your athenaOne username and password.
  3. Tap Log In.
  4. Select your practice and department.
  5. Begin using athenaOne.
  6. On your first login, athenaOne prompts you to accept the terms and conditions before you can proceed to athenaOne.

    Note: If the previous session times out, you return to your most recent location in athenaOne. Tap the Log Out button in the lower right corner to reset the session, so that you return to the home page the next time you log in.

    The default home page displays your Clinical Inbox.

From the home page, you can view your Clinical Inbox or tap an option in the footer: Schedule, Inbox, or Patients.

Note: If the screen appears empty with the statement "Your account is not currently configured for document assignment," you are not set up for document assignment and do not have an Inbox. If your account should be set up for document assignment, please contact your practice administrator. You can still select another user to view their Inbox via the picker on the sub-header.

You can see other providers' Inboxes and change the Inbox view by selecting the sub-header provider drop-down list.

Your Inbox is divided into these sections:

  • Urgent Tasks (if there are any assigned to you)
  • Patient Cases
  • Encounters
  • Orders
  • Lab / Imaging
  • Clinical Documents
  • Admin / Phone Messages
  • Need Followup
