The Credentialing Performance Metrics Dashboard page displays all credentialing metrics pertinent to your practice based on your configuration and the athenahealth services that you use. When you open the Credentialing Performance Metrics Dashboard page, you can display the metrics on these tabs:
- Dashboard tab
- Metric Detail tab
The default tab that appears when you open the Credentialing Performance Metrics Dashboard page is the Dashboard tab.
On the Dashboard tab of the Credentialing Performance Metrics Dashboard page, all metrics appear within a "card." Each card represents your practice-level performance with no applied filters or sorting features. Each graph shows the previous 365-day trend, depending on how long your practice has been live with each service.
Note: If your practice has been live with an athenahealth service for less than 1 year, the displayed 365-day trend goes back to the date when data collection started.
You can view the following information within the cards:
- Name of each metric.
- Scale measured in the unit pertinent to each metric.
- 365-day trend (blue line), which shows performance peaks and valleys over the timeline.
- 30-day average.
Click individual metric cards to obtain greater detail about your performance on the Metric Detail tab for each metric.
The Metric Detail tab provides additional options for viewing the performance data of an individual metric. You can download the data to a .csv file (Microsoft Excel) using the Export button. The export feature respects any filters applied to the data and exports the Trend or Breakout view of the data, depending on which view you select.
The unfiltered metric visualization provides two view options:
- Trend — This view is selected by default and provides the following information:
- 365-day trend of the selected metric.
- Performance at each timeline increment. You can hover the cursor over points on the line graph to display more information. The current month is a month-to-date value.
- Breakout — This view allows you to view your performance over the last 30 days as a horizontal bar graph broken out by medical group.
The Breakout view highlights the contrast between the good and poor performers in your practice.
The Trend and Breakout views can both be displayed in graphical or tabular form:
- Graph — The initial view selected by default. In the Trend view, the graph shows the 365-day trend; in the Breakout view, the graph shows a bar chart of the selected filter.
- Table — This view allows you to see the numerical values supporting the metric visualization.
You can export the data from the Graph display or the Table display.
