User Guide — Ping and Trace Directions
A "ping-and-trace" test tests your practice's connectivity with athenaOne servers. Ping-and-trace tests should send at least 200 ping requests with a packet size of 200 bytes to acquire a good average of performance.
If possible, the ping should be measured between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on a normal business day. This test can be done from either the office router or a desktop machine to athenaOne.athenahealth.com.
