Inpatient Nursing Units

athenaOne for Hospitals & Health Systems

You can use this page to administer nursing unit options that appear in the Unit menus on some hospital-related pages.

 

On the Main Menu, click Settings > Billing. In the left menu, under Practice Links —Accommodations, click Nursing Units List

 

 

 

Your organization must use athenaOne for Hospitals & Health Systems, and you must have the Inpatient Clinicals: Admin role to access this page.

 

 

 

  1. Display the Inpatient Nursing Units page: On the Main Menu, click Settings > Billing. In the left menu, under Practice Links —Accommodations, click Nursing Units List.
  2. Click Add new. Additional fields appear.
  3. Name — Enter a descriptive name for this nursing unit.
  4. Short Name — Enter a short name ofr this nursing unit.
  5. Description — Enter a description for this nursing unit.
  6. ICU — Check if this nursing unit is in the ICU.
  7. Unit Type — Select the unit type.
  8. Department — Select the department.
  9. Click Save.

  2. Edit the fields as needed.
  3. Click Save.

  2. Click delete for the item to delete. You can click undelete to restore the item.
