athenaOne for Hospitals & Health Systems
The general financials platform for athenaOne for Hospitals & Health Systems involves athenaOne in conjunction with third-party vendor partners Jumpstock, Intacct, and ADP. athenaOne completes revenue cycle workflows, including registration, coding, claim management, and reporting.
Jumpstock is an integrated materials management application.
When you use Jumpstock to scan an item, it sends the charge code to athenaOne. athenaOne then automatically populates the charge on the patient's visit charges.
Jumpstock also sends expense information to Sage Intacct. Jumpstock maps expense information to the department that incurs the expense. Sage Intacct receives the expense information in the Purchase Journal module.
Jumpstock also:
- Builds and maintains the item master
- Scans the Inventory for items used
- Maintains the current inventory
- Tracks usage by location or charge code through reporting
- Tracks inventory changes through inventory audit detail reporting
Sage Intacct provides cloud-based financial management solutions.
Sage Intacct receives expense information from Jumpstock in the Purchase Journal module.
athenaOne sends charge, payment, contractual, and unpostable data for athenaOne and foreign system accounts receivable to Sage Intacct.
Sage Intacct also:
- Creates and maintains the chart of accounts structure
- Adds journal entries
- Cuts accounts payable checks
- Monitors financial statements
- Monitors cash statements
- Runs financial reports
ADP is an online payroll and time and labor management service.
ADP generates payroll journal entries based on the user's chart of accounts. ADP then uploads the journal entries to Sage Intacct.
