Encoding Error Correction Type
An Encoding Error Correction record represents an incorrect deposit amount, created by an error in reading the check amount. This error results in athenaOne deposit batches that do not match the U.S. Bank deposit amount.

An Encoding Error Correction record is created when athenahealth receives notification from U.S. Bank of an adjustment to correct the error.
General resolution guidance
athenahealth will work with U.S. Bank to obtain the correction information and apply the correction to the original encoding error. You should not need to take action on this record type.
