The PCP Center Population tab contains a table of cost information for the patient population. A primary care provider (PCP) may be a physician, practice, or group.
On the Main Menu, click Reports. Under POPULATION MANAGEMENT, click PCP List. Click a PCP name in the list. In the PCP Center, click the Population tab
Your organization must use athenahealth Population Health. You must also have the Population Management: PCP Center: Population Tab permission.
The PCP Center Population tab displays a table of the population's cost metrics (like Total Cost, Total PMPM, Risk Adjusted Cost, and Risk Adjusted PMPM for current year to date as well as prior year to date). You can reorder the columns, or filter (View population) by age, gender, payer, or severity.
Data View is now the self-service reporting solution which provides a secure and efficient direct database connection to your population health data. The clinical population data views provide improved data filtering capabilities and enhanced metric visualization.
You can filter most PCP Center tabs by month and year. The END DATE filter lets you select both a month and a year, so you can see how utilization and severity data change from month to month. The Efficiency tab also has a Begin Date filter.
- On the Main Menu, click Reports. Under POPULATION MANAGEMENT, click PCP List. Click a PCP name in the list.
- Update the END DATE filter:
- Click END DATE near the top of the page.
The END DATE box appears. - Select the year by clicking on << or >>
- Click the month in the year of interest.
- Click Apply.
