Quick Reference — To create a group-based delegation

After you create groups of providers and delegates, you can create a group-based delegation that ties those groups together for the ordering workflow.

1. Display the Order Delegation page:

   1. On the Main Menu, click the Settings icon .
   2. Under ADMIN, click Clinicals.
   3. In the Task Bar, under PRACTICE LINKS — Order Configuration, click Order Delegation.
2. From the Delegations tab, select Group-based delegations as the Delegation method.
3. Click Add Group-Based Delegation.
4. Name — Enter a name for your group-based delegation.
5. Group of users — Select an existing group of users.
6. Order type groups — Select the types of orders that the selected users can sign for on behalf of providers.
7. Group of providers — Select an existing group of providers for whom the selected group of users can sign orders.
8. Click Add Delegation.
