Pre-Procedure Medications

On the Main Menu, click Settings > Clinicals. In the left menu, under Practice Links — Procedure Configuration, click Pre-Procedure Medications

Your organization must have the Structured Procedure Documentation feature enabled.

1. Display the Pre-Procedure Medications admin page: On the Main Menu, click Settings > Clinicals. In the left menu, under Practice Links — Procedure Configuration, click Pre-Procedure Medications.
2. Click add new.
   Input fields appear at the top of the page.
3. Medication — Enter the first few characters of the medication and select it form the matching list.
4. Type — Select the type of medication (required): IV, MEDICATION, or ANTIBIOTIC.
5. Click Save, or click Save and Add Another to continue adding medications to the Pre-Procedure Medications section.
