Procedure Timeout / Checklist Section
During a procedure, you can use this section to record when each procedure checklist item has been performed and completed.

This section appears in the encounter for appointment types that are mapped to the "Structured Procedure Visit" or the "Exam-Only Structured Procedure Visit" encounter layout. You can use the Assign Appointment Types to Layouts page to map appointment types to encounter layouts.

- The Procedure Checklist section appears at the top of the Intra section of the Exam stage.
- In the time field located to the right of each checklist item, record the time the checklist item was completed.
- You can enter "n" to use the current time from your computer. If you enter the time manually, enter AM or PM.

You can use the Procedure Timeout / Checklist page to configure the Procedure Timeout / Checklist section.

- Display the Procedure Timeout / Checklist page: On the Main
Menu, click Settings
> Clinicals. In the left menu, under Practice Links — Procedure Configuration, click Procedure Timeout / Checklist.
- Click add new.
Additional fields appear. - Name — Enter an item for the checklist.
- Click Save.
The new procedure checklist item appears in the list of checklist items at the bottom of the page.
Note: You can also edit and delete procedure checklist items.
