Daily Note List

This page allows you to administer daily notes. Daily notes appear on department-specific and provider-specific appointment displays on the View Appointments page. By default, this page lists all daily notes for the next four weeks.

 

On the Main Menu, click Calendar. Under COMMUNICATIONS, click Daily Notes

 

 

 

To access this page, you must have the Schedule Admin: Edit Daily Notes user permission.

 

 

 

  1. Display the Daily Note List page: On the Main Menu, click Calendar. Under COMMUNICATIONS, click Daily Notes.
  2. Select the search criteria using the filter fields. (You must select a provider from the Provider menu to make the note appear in the list.)  
  3. Click Filter.

    The list of daily notes appears.

 

  1. Display the Daily Note List page: On the Main Menu, click Calendar. Under COMMUNICATIONS, click Daily Notes.
  2. Click Add New Daily Note.

    The Daily Note page appears.
  3. From date — Enter or select the date on which the note is first displayed.
  4. To date — Enter or select the last date that the note is displayed.
  5. Provider — Select the provider to whom this note applies; leave this field blank if the note applies to all providers.

    Important: If you leave this field blank, your note will be visible to all providers in all departments, even those that you cannot access.
  6. Department — Select the department for which this note applies; leave this field blank if the note applies to all departments.

  7. Note — Enter the text of the note.
  8. Click Save.

    The new note appears under the Daily Notes List (next four weeks) heading.

 

  1. Display the Daily Notes List page: On the Main Menu, click Calendar. Under COMMUNICATIONS, click Daily Notes.
  2. Select the search criteria using the filter fields.
  3. Click Filter. The list of daily notes appears.
  4. Click update for the note that you want to update.

    The Daily Note view appears.
  5. Edit fields as needed.
  6. Click Save.

    The updated note appears under the Daily Notes List (next four weeks) heading.

 

  1. Display the Daily Note List page: On the Main Menu, click Calendar. Under COMMUNICATIONS, click Daily Notes.
  2. Select the search criteria using the filter fields.
  3. Click Filter.

    The list of daily notes appears.
  4. Click delete for the note that you want to delete.

    A warning message appears.
  5. Click OK to delete the note or Cancel to preserve it.  

    Note: When you delete a daily note, it appears in gray on the Daily Note List page. You can undelete a daily note if necessary and, more important, you can track all notes that have been entered.

 

 

Filter Fields
From date

The date range starting date.

To date

The date range ending date.
Provider

The provider for the filter. Leave this field blank if the note applies to all providers.
Department

The department for the filter. Leave this field blank if the note applies to all departments.
Column Headings on Daily Notes List
From Date

The start date from which the daily note applies.
To Date

The end date to which the daily note applies.
Provider

The provider to whom the daily note applies.
Important: If you leave this field blank, your note will be visible to all providers in all departments, even those that you cannot access.
Dept

The department to which the daily note applies.

Note

The note that will appear.
Daily Note (add and update view)
From date

The date on which the note is first displayed.
To date

The last date on which the note is displayed.
Provider

The provider to whom the daily note applies.

The department to which the daily note applies.
