Delivery Types

This page allows you to add, update, and delete delivery types. The values specified on this page appear in the Delivery Type menu on a patient's OB Episode page (for example, VBAC, Forceps).

 

On the Main Menu, click Settings > Practice Manager. In the left menu, under Practice Links — OB Episodes, click Delivery Types

 

 

 

To access this page, the OB feature must be enabled. You must have the Practice Set-Up: Delivery Types/ AP and IP Transfer Codes role or permission to access and edit this page.

 

 

 

  1. Display the Delivery Types page: On the Main Menu, click Settings > Practice Manager. In the left menu, under Practice Links — OB Episodes, click Delivery Types.
  2. Name — Enter the name of the new delivery type. This name should be a full description of the delivery type.
  3. Click Save. The new delivery type appears in the list below.

 

  1. Display the Delivery Types page: On the Main Menu, click Settings > Practice Manager. In the left menu, under Practice Links — OB Episodes, click Delivery Types.
  2. Locate the delivery type that you want to update in the list below.
  3. Click the update link. The delivery type name appears in the Name field at the top of the page.
  4. Edit as needed.
  5. Click Save. The updated delivery type appears in the list below.

 

  1. Display the Delivery Types page: On the Main Menu, click Settings > Practice Manager. In the left menu, under Practice Links — OB Episodes, click Delivery Types.
  2. Locate the delivery type that you want to update in the list below.
  3. Click the delete link. A warning message appears.
  4. Click OK to delete or Cancel to preserve.

    Note: There is no undelete option. To restore a delivery type, you must add it again.
