Stock Area Management
athenaOne for Hospitals & Health Systems
You can use the Stock Area Management page to document and view which packaged drug groups exist in non-pharmacy locations (known as stock areas) for each department. Stock areas are often locked rooms or other spaces that nurses can access to retrieve floor stock, which are represented as various packaged drug groups (PDGs) in athenaOne.
Documenting stock areas helps athenaOne generate more accurate reports on the Pharmacy Dispense page.

On the Main Menu, click Settings > Clinicals. In the left menu, under Practice Links — Pharmacy, click Stock Area Management.

You must be logged in to a department that uses athenaOne for Hospitals & Health Systems, your facility must use stock areas outside of the central pharmacy, and you must have the Inpatient Clinicals: Formulary Management permission.
