athena Medical Coding Services Report (for hospital customers)
athenaOne for Hospitals & Health Systems
You can use the athena Medical Coding Services reports to view visits with coding:
- In progress
- Pending queries
- Assigned
- Completed
These reports enable your organization to view the status and progress of visits sent to athenaOne® Medical Coding.
How do I get to this page?
On the Main Menu, click Claims, and then click Coding Service Report.
User access and permissions
You must be logged in to a department that uses athenaOne for Hospitals & Health Systems, and your organization must use athenaOne Medical Coding to access this page.

To view the athena Medical Coding Services report
- Display the athena Medical Coding Services Report page: On the Main Menu, click Claims, and then click Coding Service Report.
- Review the report:
- The top section displays information about visits with coding in progress, or pending queries.
- The bottom section displays information about visits that are assigned to, or completed by, athenaOne Medical Coding.
- For either report, click Download to Excel to view more detailed information about the visits, including visit ID, claim details, and more.
- Show report for — For the bottom report, select a date range for visits you want to view.
