No Attachment Reasons
This page allows you to create, update, and delete "no attachment" reasons for your practice.
A "no attachment" reason describes why no attachment is needed for a claim that has an attachment placeholder. For such claims, you must select a no attachment reason to place the claim in DROP status.
On the Main Menu, click Settings
>Billing. In the left menu, under Practice Links — Miscellaneous, click No Attachment Reasons
This page is accessible if your practice has the Claim Attachments feature enabled.
- Display the No
Attachment Reasons page: On the Main Menu, click Settings
>Billing. In the left menu, under Practice Links — Miscellaneous, click No Attachment Reasons. - Name — Enter the text of the no attachment reason.
- Ordering — Enter a number to indicate the order for this no attachment reason on the Manage Attachments page.
- Click Save.
- Display the No
Attachment Reasons page: On the Main Menu, click Settings
>Billing. In the left menu, under Practice Links — Miscellaneous, click No Attachment Reasons. - Click the update link of the no attachment reason that you want to edit. The Update No Attachment Reasons view appears at the top of the page.
- Edit the fields as needed.
- Click Save. The updated no attachment reason appears in the list below.
- Display the No
Attachment Reasons page: On the Main Menu, click Settings
>Billing. In the left menu, under Practice Links — Miscellaneous, click No Attachment Reasons. - Click the delete link of the no attachment reason that you want to delete. A warning message appears.
- Click OK to delete the reason, or click Cancel to preserve it. The deleted no attachment reason appears "grayed out" in the list below. You can restore the reason using the undelete link.
