Test Datacenter Connectivity
This page displays the connectivity status of the athenahealth data centers and other services used by athenaOne.
- If the connectivity status for any of the data centers is NOT OK, please verify that your firewall is open to *.athenahealth.com.
- If the connectivity status for athena.io or the athena CDN is NOT OK, please verify that your organization is not denying inbound or outbound network traffic to *.athena.io or cdn.nimbus.athena.io.
If you cannot verify the connectivity status at your organization, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
On the Main Menu, click Settings > Practice Manager. In the left menu, under Practice Links — Troubleshooting, click Connectivity Test Page
If the connectivity status of any item on this page is NOT OK, contact your network administrator. If you do not have a network administrator or if you are the network administrator and cannot resolve the problem, contact your Customer Success Manager.
- Display the Test Datacenter Connectivity page: On the Main Menu, click Settings > Practice Manager. In the left menu, under Practice Links — Troubleshooting, click Connectivity Test Page.
- If any of the data centers display a status of NOT OK, please verify that your firewall is open to *.athenahealth.com.
- If the connectivity status for athena.io or for athena CDN is NOT OK, please verify that your organization is not denying inbound or outbound network traffic to *.athena.io or to cdn.nimbus.athena.io.
Note: If your organization uses third-party contractors who access athenaOne from a separate network, they may encounter errors accessing *.athena.io. athenahealth recommends that they verify connectivity on their machines using the Test Datacenter Connectivity page.
You can search for documents created by a specific athenaOne user on the Document Search page using the Created By field. The search results should look similar to this:
If the search results for the Created By field do not show detailed user information, such as specialty, check whether the athena CDN data center has a Connectivity Status of OK. For more information, see Searching for documents created by a specific user.
