User Guide — Financial Controls Center
The Financial Controls Center (FCC) helps you access and understand your deposit and financial data, and the relationship between them. Using the FCC, you can generate the reports you need to gain more control over your practice.
User access and permission
To access the FCC Activity report type, you must have one of these user roles:
- *Practice Superuser
- *Report Reader
- Report: Report Builder: Deposit Activity
Step-by-step instructions
To create an FCC Activity report
- Display the Report Builder page: On the Main Menu, click Reports. Under General, click Report Builder.
- Select FCC Activity on the Choose Report Type tab.
- Click Next.
- Available Display Columns — Select display columns for your report. Many of the Available Display Columns, such as Claim or Location, exist in other report types. The FCC-related display columns are located under Depositactivity and Depositbatch.
- Click Next.
- Available Filters — Select filters for your report.
- Click Run Report.
- Select your report format and click OK.
The report appears.

Financial Controls Center page
The Financial Controls Center page provides a guided workflow that walks you through all the activities you should perform each month as part of your athenaOne close. The Financial Controls Center (FCC) also alerts you to any issues that could create problems during your monthly close. You can review this page daily or weekly throughout the month to make sure you're on track.
Financial Controls Center Deposits Detail report page
The Financial Controls Center Deposits Detail report page allows you to report on deposits posted in athenaOne. This report gives you a way to see the details behind the financial summary on the Financial Controls Center (FCC) page. It also helps you balance athenaOne to your bank account. Your practice can run this report monthly, weekly, or daily.
FCC Activity report type in Report Builder
If your organization compensates providers based on revenue, neither the Financial Controls Center nor the Financial Controls Center Deposits Detail report includes this information. Instead, you can use the FCC Activity report type on the Report Builder page to select the columns and filters for your report.
