This page allows you to locate a procedure code (and any modifiers) by description or code and populate any Procedure or Procedure Code(s) field that appears on the Charge Entry, Claim Edit, and other athenaOne pages.

 

You can also click the magnifying glass icon to access the athenaCodesource Code and Knowledge Base tool from this page.

 

To access this tool, type a period in any Procedure or Procedure code field that appears on many athenaOne pages, including the Charge Entry, Claim Edit, Activity Report Wizard, Capitation Wizard, and Insurance Authorization pages

 

 

 

  1. To access this tool, type a period in any Procedure or Procedure code field that appears on many athenaOne pages, including the Charge Entry, Claim Edit, Activity Report Wizard, Capitation Wizard, and Insurance Authorization pages.
  2. In the By description field, enter the first letters of the procedure code that you want to locate.
  3. Click Lookup. The list of procedure codes that match your keywords appears below, with the number of matching results displayed at the top of the list.
  4. Click the code number that you want to use. The previous page reappears with the selected code in the procedure code entry box.

  3. Click Lookup. The list of procedure codes that begin with the digits you entered appears below, with the number of matching results displayed at the top of the list.  
  4. Click the code number that you want to use. The previous page reappears with the selected code in the procedure code entry box.
