Clinical Inbox Audit with Patient Demographics Report
The Clinical Inbox Audit with Patient Demographics report is an enhanced version of the Clinical Inbox Audit report with additional filters (such as current document status) to reduce the size and run time of the report, as well as additional document details and patient demographic information.
Display the Report Library: On the Main Menu, click Reports. Under General, click Report Library. Click the Clinicals tab. In the Standard Reports section of the tab, click run next to Clinical Inbox Audit with Patient Demographics.
To access reports on the Clinicals tab of the Report Library, you must have the Clinicals user permission and the Report: Report Library: Clinicals permission. The Report: Report Library: Clinicals permission is included in the following roles:
- Practice Superuser role
- Report Reader role
Note: To activate the Clinical Inbox Audit with Patient Demographics report, use the Activate Reports page.
- Display the Report Library: On the Main Menu, click Reports. Under General, click Report Library.
- Click the Clinicals tab.
- Click run next to Clinical Inbox Audit with Patient Demographics in the Standard Reports section of the tab.
The Run Report: Clinical Inbox Audit with Patient Demographics page appears. - Select the dates, filters, report format and options (see the Field Reference table below for details).
- Click Run Report.

Created Date |
Enter the start and end dates for the documents that you want to include in the report, or select a date range from the menu. Documents created in this date range appear in the report. |
Document Class | By default, the report displays IMAGINGRESULT and LABRESULT documents only. To report on other document types, click Selected and then select the document types from the list. |
Unconfigured (Y/N) |
By default, the report displays documents assigned to both configured and unconfigured users (the Show All option is selected by default).

Column Headings | |
Document ID |
Unique ID of the document in the Clinical Inbox. You can click the linked ID number to display the actual document. |
Department Name |
Name of the department from the clinical document. |
Created Date |
Date on which the document was created. |
Created By | User or entity (for example, Interface) that created the document. |
Document Type |
Document type (you can select the document types to display when you run the report). |
Status | Current status of the document, for example, Closed, Pend, Review, or Deleted. |
Currently Assigned To | User to whom the document is currently assigned. |
Unconfigured (Y/N) |
Indicates whether the document is assigned to an unconfigured user (Y) or a configured user (N). |
Document Subclass | Document Subclass of the indicated document. This is a subset of the Document Type. |
Document Source | Source the clinical document originated from. For example: if a clinical document was generated during a clinical encounter, this field will show Encounter. |
Document Provider | Username of the provider on the clinical document - for Lab Result and Imaging Result documents where this is null by default, the report fetches the provider from the Clinical Order it's tied to when available. |
Patient ID | Patient ID associated with the clinical document. |
Patient Name | First Name and Last Name from the Full Registration associated with the Patient ID. |
Clinical Order Type | For Clinical Orders, this is the global name of the Clinical Order Type in the athenaOne system. |
Send To Provider | For Clinical Orders, the Name, Address, Phone and Fax numbers (if available) of the Clinical Provider the Clinical Order is being sent to. |
Clinical Provider Order Type | For Clinical Orders, this is the Send to Provider specific name for the Clinical Order Type. |
Last Action Date | Date of the last action on the clinical document. |
Last Action By | Username of the person who took the last action on the clinical document. |
Action | Last action taken on the clinical document. |
Action Note | Note associated with the last action on the clinical document if there is one. |
