Appointments Scheduled via Communicator
This page allows you to review appointments that were scheduled or cancelled by Live Operators, by patients on the Patient Portal, and by any third-party athenahealth Marketplace partners.
On the Main Menu, click Settings > Communicator. In the left menu, under Practice Links — Communicator, click Appointments Scheduled via Communicator
Your practice must have athenaCommunicator service enabled, and you must have either the Communicator Admin role or the Communicator Admin — Group Call Only user permission to access this page.
Note: Before this report can display data, your practice must have some scheduling activity completed by a live operator, by a patient on the Patient Portal, by a patient responding to a ReminderCall text message via text, or via a third-party athenahealth Marketplace partner.
- Display the Appointments Scheduled via Communicator page: On the Main Menu, click Settings > Communicator. In the left menu, under Practice Links — Communicator, click Appointments Scheduled via Communicator.
- Date range — Enter the date range for the report. You can also click the calendar icon and select the dates, or select a time frame from the menu.
- Created by — Select the type of user or service that scheduled or cancelled the appointment.
- Select Patient Portal to report on patient Web scheduling activity.
- Select Via SMS to report on patient appointments that were cancelled via text in response to a ReminderCall text message.
- Select one of these other options: All, Live Operator, Vitals, or MDP Partners via API.
- Department — Click All to report on all departments, or click Selected and select the departments to include in the report.
- Click Summary Report or Detail Report. The report results appear.
To run the report again, you must reload the page.
Tip: In the Detail Report results, click a link in the Appointment column to display the appointment information page. For cancelled appointments, you can change the cancellation reason on the Appointment Status page.
If your practice allows patients to cancel and reschedule appointments using the Patient Portal, or if you allow new patients to register and schedule their first appointment using the Patient Portal, you can review your patients' actions conducted on the Patient Portal.
