Discharge Patient

On the Quickview, next to Currently admitted to, click Discharge patient (the link appears if the patient is currently admitted)

On the Check-in page, click discharge patient (under Verify & Edit Registration Information)

On the Manage Patient Rounding Lists page, click discharge (under the Discharge column in the list)

Your practice must have the Patient Rounding List feature enabled, and you must have the Manage Patient Rounding Lists user permission to access this page.

1. Display the Discharge Patient page: On the Quickview, next to Currently admitted to, click Discharge patient (the link appears if the patient is currently admitted). Or: On the Manage Patient Rounding Lists page, click discharge (under the Discharge column in the list).
2. Admit date — Verify the date of admission.
3. Discharge date — Verify or enter the date of discharge.
4. Notes — Enter any notes about the patient discharge.
5. Click Save. The previous page reappears. The Quickview page now displays "Not admitted" in the Currently admitted to section, with links to Admit patient and View admit history.
