Configure Language Options for Patient Attestation

athenaClinicals

If you're sending your patient an attestation artifact, you can send their attestation requests to them in Spanish if that is their preferred language. Patients can also select options within the received artifact to view it in Spanish.

Important: At this time, English and Spanish are the only languages supported. If you select a language other than English or Spanish —or if you don’t specify any language preference — the attestation requests patients receive will appear in English by default.

Designate Spanish as the patient's preferred language

  1. In main menu's search bar, enter the patient’s name, patient ID, insurance number, or guarantor. Click Search.

    • If your search returns multiple results or if a result requires additional verification, Find a Patient opens. Click Quickview in the action menu to the right of the correct patient name.

    • If your search returns a single, verified result, the patient’s Quickview opens automatically.

  2. In the Quickview, scroll down to Demographics. In Language, select Spanish.
